Paragliding

I started Paragliding in the summer of ’05. My buddy Greg had just gotten into the sport the year prior. He called me up and asked if I wanted to check it out. I have wanted to be a pilot for as long as I can remember and once I saw how easy it could be to get my feet off the ground I jumped at the chance to get my own gear.

Now I go out when I can, and dream about flying when I can’t. I’ll tell you, clouds don’t quite look the same

once you start flying. The white puffy ones, the ones that mean the flying could be REALLY good, always come out while you are at work.

I have met some really cool people doing this, and I have gone to some places I would have had no reason to go to otherwise. That said, I hope to be paragliding for many more years to come, and see some other great flying sites.

The bucket list of places I would like to visit:

  • Not likely places
    • Annecy, France
  • Places a little closer to home
    • Woodrat Mt, Oregon
    • Chelan, Washington
  • Sites I have flown
    • Bogus Basin, Idaho
    • King Mountain, Idaho
    • Local Ridge soaring sites
